Festival Season 2020 - let's go!
Whether it's concerts, open-air events or festivals - spending time with friends under the open sky with good music always puts a smile on my face every year. Unfortunately, Corona is once again putting a damper on things, and festivals probably won't be happening this year. One thing is for sure for me: I'm going to miss festivals a lot this summer - the music, the feeling, the outfits... Even if festivals are probably cancelled this season, I'm still a huge fan of wearing cool festival looks in everyday life or when visiting friends. And if you look at the big fashion icons and influencers, one thing is clear: festival outfits for women are super trendy! Why? Because they are casual, airy, and make you crave summer!
Stylish for the festival season - grab some dresses!
The good thing about casual festival looks is that they are relatively easy to style. With just a few steps, you can quickly turn your favourite dress into a cool festival outfit. Since I'm a huge festival fan, I find the topic even cooler and had a lot of fun putting together great outfit ideas for you. When I researched what was an absolute trend at festivals this season, it quickly became clear: bring on the dresses! Whether mini dress or maxi dress, floral dresses or dresses with Aztec patterns - dresses are a must-have for women for the festival season. So that you don't look like you're just going shopping with your best friend in these dresses, a few helpful tips will show you how to quickly turn your dress into a cool festival style. The advantage of dresses at festivals is their flexibility when the weather changes. Because who doesn't know it in Germany - one moment the sun is shining and ten minutes later it's raining and getting chilly! So, my first little tip: always pack a pair of tights in your festival bag, so you can quickly and easily warm yourself up without distracting from your dress.
Playful or rocky - from flower girl to leather girl!
Two trends for the festival season are clear: floral print dresses and casual leather clothing or accessories! That's why I've picked out our brand new Maxi Dress "Felina" for you here. The dress has a super casual, wide cut and personally convinced me with its pattern: a mix of flowers, paisley and skulls. This directly crosses the playful floral look with more casual patterns. To prevent all outfits from going in a rocky direction, I combined this dress in the trendy "hippie style". And the most important rule here is: more is more! Because hippie, besides cool dresses with floral patterns, also means bright colours, colourful jewellery and having fun with fashion! That's why I chose colourful beaded necklaces with pompoms and a matching straw bag that picks up the colours of the maxi dress. Plus a cool hat that not only looks good but also perfectly protects you from the sun if you're outside all day. If you get too cold on top, you can also combine a loose denim jacket or a fringed jacket with the dress.

Now it's time to rock! Leather is simply a must-have at a festival. And what do you combine it with? That's right, a dress! The dress "Hannah" with the cool, geometric Aztec print is perfect for this! I chose the black and white dress for this look (if you prefer it more colourful, you can also choose between orange and pink!). This pretty tunic dress simply goes perfectly with a rocky outfit, because the contrast of the two colours and the print look great with a leather jacket. I chose a studded leather jacket here to give it even more "rock flair". Since I'm always a fan of colour, I couldn't resist this time either. That's why I chose the silk scarf "Classic" in light blue. In general, scarves in the hair are great for adding even more festival flair to your look. A little tip from me: If you're wearing a simple basic dress, combine it with a colourful scarf! To store all your festival essentials, the "Klara" belt bag made of real leather is perfect with the dress, as it also protects your items from moisture. The advantage of belt bags is that you can also wear them as a belt to give the tunic dress more shape and to vary the length of the dress.

You can have both: flowers and leather!
To show you that playful dresses can also be worn rock-style, I chose the floral "Madita" dress. This mini dress is brand new in our range and stands out from our other dresses! Because it has ruching with elasticated inserts, which change the cut of the dress and also provide an additional eye-catcher. You also have this ruching on the flounced sleeves, which makes the dress even more playful and feminine. To give the outfit a rocky touch, I combined a leather waistcoat and black leather boots with it. Short as well as long dresses can be wonderfully worn with ankle boots, in addition to sneakers or sandals. So if you wear a maxi dress or a short dress at the festival, these shoes will protect you from moisture and dirt. To prevent the look from appearing too masculine and "harsh", I chose a floral wreath in colours matching the dress (which can also be easily made yourself). Flower wreaths and flowers in the hair in general are now a common headpiece at festivals - and I think it looks even more beautiful with wide dresses!

Leopard print dresses are a must!
As you've probably noticed by now, I love leopard print! And leopard print can also be worn wonderfully at festivals. Leopard print dresses not only look casual, but also always attract attention. The "Mayla" leopard maxi dress is my absolute favourite this season, because it has a great cut and a super beautiful leopard pattern in white, brown and black. To not hide too much of this beautiful dress, I combined it with a leather waistcoat. To add some colour here again, this time I chose the "Klara" leather bag in a bright yellow. This makes a cool colourful statement and completes the look.
So, which look is your favourite? I honestly don't think I could choose right away, but it's good that festivals usually last a few days, so you're definitely perfectly equipped for every day! One more thing you should know: anything is possible! Feel free to experiment with your hairstyles, put glitter on your face, or use temporary tattoos. Because that's what's so great about festivals... Wear what you like!
With that in mind...
best regards and have a nice Sunday
