Fabric masks as a new everyday companion - how to style them fashionably

Since Monday, it's been: Masks on! Even on the third day of mandatory masks, I have to admit that wearing a cloth mask still feels somehow unusual. Given the prospect that we will probably have mandatory masks for many more months, I will probably have to get used to it. And I will probably also have to get used to the fact that masks will definitely become part of the fashion world in 2020.

 

Cloth masks - the new fashion accessory?

What do you think? I believe that there will be no limits to the variety of designs, patterns and models for community masks in the future. But I think the idea is somehow cool. Imagine, soon you'll see colorful cloth masks with flowers, stars, in neon or with polka dots everywhere in the supermarket? Despite the current situation, that somehow brings a sense of satisfaction and a bit of good cheer. I myself have already caught myself choosing my triangle scarf to match the mask and then had to realize that a larger selection of masks (of course also for hygienic reasons) has many advantages. Because how cool would it be if you could wear your everyday mask matching your scarf, shawl or triangle scarf on your next little shopping trip?

Our masks are not a medical product, but are intended to help protect you. Of course, we have still paid attention to important things in the production of our masks. That is why most of our masks are made of 100% cotton. This is not only more skin-friendly for you (especially important since you wear them close to your mouth), but also particularly easy to care for (you can wash them at 60 degrees).

What you need to consider when using them

Care is important because your health is important to us. That's why there are a few things you should keep in mind when using cloth masks:

1. Wash the masks before first use, preferably at 60 degrees.

2. Place the mask tightly over your mouth, nose and cheeks, as this is the only way to prevent viruses from reaching your mouth/nose area.

3. Store safely and carefully after wearing.

4. Change, wash and, if necessary, iron cloth masks regularly (preferably after each wear).

...and of course, it still means: wash your hands regularly and keep your distance!
