Today it's all about the great topic: Colors!
Why are colors so exciting in the fashion world? Colors have different effects and influences on people, so colors convey meanings and trigger various feelings in us. And it's the same with clothes. For example, we associate dark colors like black or grey with winter clothing, and bright colors like yellow or orange with summer clothing. If you wear black, it might suggest you're not in a good mood, while pink might indicate cheerfulness. We do this partly unconsciously and don't even notice it when we put our outfits together - fascinating, isn't it?
Our collections at Zwillingsherz are always very colorful because we want to evoke positive and summery feelings in you. That's why you'll find many products in many different colors - whether knitted sweaters in blue, yellow, or green, cardigans in white, pink, or black - there's something for everyone. Since summer is "practically" around the corner, I've selected the current trend colors that definitely shouldn't be missing from your wardrobe this summer and put together some great looks for you. I grabbed our knitted cardigan "Natalia" (it comes in great trend colors) and created cool looks for you, where you can wear a cardigan fashionably even on warm days. The great thing about the knitted cardigan "Natalia" is its cut: it has wide, loose 3/4 sleeves and no buttons, as the jacket is always worn open. This gives it a beautiful, light drape, and you won't get too warm despite wearing a jacket. The special thing about the knitted cardigan is the material, as it consists of 50% modal. Although modal is a chemical fiber, it has a natural origin. The cellulose from which the fiber is made is obtained from various types of wood. Experts often refer to the fabric as "better viscose" because it has a soft, smooth, shiny surface. But compared to Germans' favorite material, cotton, modal also has many advantages: it absorbs more moisture, is more durable, more elastic, less sensitive to heat, wrinkles less, is easier to iron... you see, the list is very, very long!
Trend Color No. 1: CLASSIC BLUE
This summer, one color in particular has prevailed in collections and fashion shows: blue. Whether dark blue, denim, or light blue - blue is in! Since blue is so popular in the fashion world this season, it was even chosen by the "Pantone" Color Institute as the "Color of the year 2020", which means: Bring it on! With the color "blue," all possibilities are open to you, and you can wear this color as you please. Of course, our knitted cardigan "Natalia" is also available in this trend color. You can even get the blue cardigan from us in two different shades of blue: light and dark blue.
You can wear the dark blue knitted cardigan for women perfectly with white clothing. This creates an immediate maritime flair and makes your look reminiscent of the sea. To match the blue cardigan, you can take the white blouse "Gesa", which is especially cute with its embroidery and pom-poms. To complete the maritime look, the light scarf "Jade" is perfect, as it has a great stripe pattern in two different shades of blue. Your blue look is complete!
Alternatively, we also have more blue clothing for women in our shop. I have picked out my favorites for you:
- Our sweatpants "Rike" in blue - perfect for a day at home
- The triangle scarf "Anne" with small white anchors
- Dress "Luna" in light blue and dark blue - also ideal for larger sizes

However, since not only a dark blue knitted cardigan is currently very trendy, but light blue can also be worn wonderfully in summer, I have put together a matching look for you. Light blue is naturally even more summery, as the color is lighter than a navy tone. For the light blue knitted cardigan "Natalia" I have chosen my absolute favorite of our new arrivals for you: The wrap dress "Alice". With its color combination of blue, pink, and white, the summer dress is simply perfect with the light blue knitted cardigan and, of course, great for summer. It is a beautiful wrap dress, which is therefore also perfectly suitable for larger sizes.
Here are some more favorites in light blue:
- The silk scarf "Classic" in a beautiful light blue
- For colder days, the light blue poncho "Leah"
- The blue triangle scarf "Liv" in the trendy Palestinian pattern

Trend Color No. 2: EARTH TONES
Light earth tones are definitely among the trend colors this season - whether light yellow, beige, or light brown tones. These colors are totally hip! The advantage of earth tones is that they can be combined in many ways - you can also wear a bright highlight with them. For the first look, I chose our great summer dress "Mia" with the knitted cardigan "Natalia" in beige. The dress also takes its cue from the beautiful earth tones in light orange, beige, and white. There are small colorful highlights in dark blue and red to match. The summer dress really comes into its own with the cardigan, as the colorful paisley pattern stands out perfectly from it.
I am a huge fan of beige, so I have picked out three of my absolute favorites for you:
- The silk scarf "Elisa" with a floral print in a beautiful white-beige combination
- Blouse "Janina" with a cool interplay of white, beige, pink, and red
- The beige knitted jacket "Annabell" - perfect for cool summer evenings

Matching the beige knitted jacket and the trendy earth tones, the knitted cardigan "Natalia" is also available in a beautiful light yellow. Many know that yellow is the color of the sun, light, and cheerfulness. All the more beautiful, therefore, that yellow is also considered one of the trend colors of 2020. For this look, I opted entirely for this color, choosing both the cardigan and the dress in the same shade. To match the yellow cardigan, you can wear the yellow tunic dress "Eva", which is super cute with its small white dots! To add another summery color, I combined the scarf "Florentine" in orange. The scarf also features the colors yellow and white again - so it's perfect for the rest of the look!
My favorite yellow items from our shop:
- The beautiful, yellow triangle scarf "Sonja" made of 100% cotton
- The fanny pack "Klara" made of leather - the perfect accessory!
- The Silk scarf "Paula" in a beautiful stripe pattern

Trend Color No. 3: PINK
Pink always works and Pink is - thankfully - trendier than ever! You can combine this trend color perfectly with red or other shades of pink. It might sound quite colorful at first, but it isn't. To match the knitted jacket "Natalia" in pink, I picked out the cool, summery tie-dye dress "Jennifer" in pink and white. Add the knitted jacket "Natalia" and you're perfectly equipped for an evening summer stroll. If that's still too simple for you, then you can reach for the pink triangle scarf "Samira". The triangle scarf with the trendy leopard print adds even more color to your look!
My pink favorites for you:
- The silk scarf "Daisy" in pink with a floral print
- Dress "Amalia" in pink - ideal for summer days!
- Poncho "Matilda" with a pink leopard print

So you see, it's going to be colorful all summer long. The important thing is to always stay true to yourself and only wear colors that make you feel good. This way, you automatically radiate a positive feeling.
Stay healthy,
your Charlotte
